Be among the first to shop at the Westport Library Big Fall 2022 Book Sale! ONLY Early Access Ticket-holders will be admitted to shop the first four hours of the Westport Library Big Fall 2022 Book Sale on Friday, November 11, 2022, from 8:45am to 1:00pm. A maximum of 125 tickets will be issued. No need to line up hours in advance -- Ticket holders will be admitted to the sale in the order in which their tickets were purchased. Following your ticket purchase, you will receive an email from [email protected] advising you of your place # in line. If you do not receive an email within 72 hours after your ticket purchase, please contact us by sending an email to that email address. Once you are at the Book Sale, you do not have to leave when Early Access hours are over -- stay as long as you like! High volume purchasers, please note: You may not leave any items unattended. There will be no large-volume holding or evaluation area at this sale. You are expected to evaluate items in-place: please decide whether to purchase an item at the table or shelf where it is displayed, and return rejected items to their place. Any books found piled up or put aside for later evaluation will be promptly re-shelved. COVID precautions: -- Hand sanitizer will be available at the entrance to the sale, and at various points within the Library -- Social distancing is strongly encouraged -- At this time, the wearing of face masks inside the Library is optional; we will continue to monitor town regulations and area health conditions, and may adjust these requirements as conditions warrant. We recommend that you bring a face mask with you, just in case. PLEASE stay home if you have a fever, are feeling unwell, or are exhibiting any symptoms of COVID-19. Full Fall 2022 Book Sale dates and times are as follows: Friday, November 11th Early Access Ticketed Admission Only 8:45am - 1:00 pm Friday, November 11th 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. -- Admission Free Saturday, November 12th 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. -- Admission Free Sunday, November 13th 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. -- Admission Free, everything Half-Price Monday, November 14th 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. -- Admission Free, fill our Logo Bag for $8 per bag, or fill your equivalent-sized bag for $5 per bag, or purchase individual items for half-price (your choice) NOTE: For this event, vintage vinyl records and graphic novels and manga will be available only at our Westport Book Shop, 23 Jesup Road, right across Jesup Green from the Westport Library. Early Access tickets do not provide early entry to the Book Shop.
