I am a "retired" forest school teacher. I love nature and helping kiddos feel connected to the earth. In addition to my passion for botany and entomology, I have a degree in Environmental Science and a Certificate in Forestry & Wildland Resources. I have a small pinned bug collection and lots of other nature curios. This show & tell style of learning has been such a success in the past! The whimsical nature of my curated sets and lesson plan connections get the children so excited. They especially loved the bug vision and using the magnifying glasses to investigate! I am huge on emergent curriculum, so the plan may also change depending on the children's interests. Parents are welcome to stay or do a drop off- just email me if you plan to leave. Please feel free to bring any bugs or nature treasures (living bugs so long as it does not harm them) and we can have more to observe! :) Thank you and feel free to reach out with any questions!
