Ms. Tanoa Vaughn is an Entrepreneur and Mom of four with a passion for teaching financial empowerment and guiding others to become financially informed and skilled at how to understand how they spend their money, make wise financial decisions, and have access to resources to help them reach their goals. Ms. Vaughn was born and raised on Cape Cod and is a Falmouth High School graduate who enjoys giving back to her community. She often volunteers her time teaching low-income families financial empowerment tools and techniques. Ms. Vaughn is also a graduate of Cape Cod Community College with a degree in Criminal Justice. Financial empowerment is the feeling of being in control of your own financial situation. When you feel this kind of empowerment, you feel that you control your financial situation and not the other way around. Financial empowerment is about educating yourself, setting financial goals, building and executing a plan, and having a strategy to handle unexpected financial challenges that pop up along the way. No matter what your income is — or how much debt you’re in — financial empowerment can be attainable, help reduce your stress, improve your standard of living, and help you achieve your long-term goals.
