At Better Learning Therapies, we understand the challenges your children face in social situations. We know that children do the best they can with the skills they have. Social skills are not something children are born with - they must be modeled and taught. We are excited to offer a Social Skills Group where parents and children can learn how to navigate common social situations with confidence and ease. Purchase your ticket for these 4 sessions today!October 4, 11, 18, and 25 from 5-6pm at our Layton Clinic.Education - Participants will learn how to:ask for help and make an apology ($25)listen and follow instructions ($25)ask for help to stay on tasks ($25)conduct themselves in a team work setting and share ($25)Parents will receive home plans to help support newly acquired skills. Your ticket covers the cost of all four sessions for one participant. There are only 8 slots for this group, so don't wait! Treatment -Group setting once weekly for one hour with a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist. Dates are Tuesdays in October from 5-6pm in our Layton clinic (915 N 400 W, Ste 110, Layton, UT 84041) We have customized the curriculum to meet the needs of children in Kindergarten through 6th grade. Participants will be grouped by ages for the best learning opportunities. Opportunity -Maximum practice of verbal and non-verbal communication strategies to gain valuable life skills and increase meaningful relationships and friendships. Collaboration - Parents and SLP will collaborate to ensure progress in targeted areas.
