Join us for a spooktacular Trunk-or-Treat celebration! This free family event invites children of all ages to enjoy decorated vehicles, and trick-or-treat for tasty sweets in a safe and not-so-scary environment. At the event, children will be saying "trunk or treat" instead of "trick or treat" as they participate in a fun alternative to the traditional door-to-door version of Halloween. Turning the backs of about a dozen cars, minivans, and a fire trunk into the new front porch, trunk-or-treating brings Halloween to the safety of TLE®'s parking lot, where children and parents can go from vehicle to vehicle to view decorated trunks, admire costumes and collect tasty treats. The event will also feature entertainment, contest prizes for best decorated trunk and best costume for children, ages six weeks to five years old. Children and their parents will be able to interact with first responders from the Fire Department as well as "Touch-a-Truck", a hands-on opportunity to explore a fire trucks and meet the people who protect and serve the community.
