Santa Barbara premiere of Albee Layer's newest surf film DELIRIUM Discount JuneShine all night FIlm will play at 8:30pm DELIRIUM is a surf film starring Albee Layer, featuring his best waves, maneuvers, and moments from the past year. The surfing spans some of the best breaks in Hawaii to areas of the Pacific Northwest. Abstract interludes are interwoven into the story between the surf sections. These interludes explore the existentialism that most athletes and individuals face in their careers, constantly overcoming obstacles and setbacks to progress their craft. Regardless of growth and progression, humans seem to inevitably face challenges that hold them back in some way, shape, or form. The creative is loosely based on a famous Greek myth, that examines the human experience in the face of death and how some overcome those odds, only to face new challenges. DELIRIUM explores how Albee copes with these challenges and ultimately chooses to pursue his passion despite obstacles and setbacks.
