Curious about fashion design and the process a designer goes through from idea to final product? Come learn in a fun hands-on workshop brought to you by STL Fashion Alliance and The City Sewing Room. Go through the creative process a designer goes through for dressmaking but instead of a dress you will make a simple garment for your model - a wine bottle. You will sketch your design, make a pattern, source your fabric, and construct the garment (aka wine bag). Your completed wine bag makes a great holiday gift or keep it for yourself. No sketching or sewing experience needed! Beginners welcome! Ages 21+. All materials and equipment included. This program is a collaboration between STL Fashion Alliance and City Sewing Room. Bring your friends and a creative attitude! Cost: $30 per person /per class Max: 8 participants Class location is at West County Mall in the STLFA space "Fashion West" located near Macy's on the Lower Level near the mall entrance.
