Gather & Give 2022 will offer a freshly prepared Thanksgiving meals and a winter coat distribution for people in need. This event is made possible by the generosity and kindness of our community members who help fundraise, organize, and execute our vision. Volunteerism: Who, Where, & What Who? You! We're looking for people who want to help make a difference for our neighbors by spreading positive energy at Gather & Give. It is recommended that volunteers are at least 12 years old. Where? This year's distribution will be hosted at the Washington City Mission, the original home of Gather & Give, where the Mission's residents and the community at large can enjoy the charitable benefits of our generous volunteers and contributors. What? We offer a homestyle, sit-down Thanksgiving feast and a warm winter coat to all who attend. Our kitchen and dining room volunteers will spend the afternoon preparing and serving the meal, while our coat distribution team will organize a shopping experience for attendees to choose a new or gently used winter coat. We're also need people to greet guests and help them navigate the facility. Volunteer positions will be assigned upon arrival to the event on November 12. Help us make a difference!
