Grab your bike, helmet & holiday spirit and join us for Cycling Santas -- an easy family friendly bike ride through the streets of Downtown Springdale led by cyclists from the Springdale Bike Club and benefiting Pedal It Forward The Ride: This is a family friendly bike ride where riders of all ages are welcome. We just ask that riders are capable of completing a 5-7 mile bike ride at a steady pace. This is a fun bike ride. Bring on the holiday costumes & decorations – the more the merrier! We’ll be biking at a nice, steady pace – enjoying the scenery and the season! The ride is limited to 60 riders. Each group will have no more than 20 riders, 1 guide and a seasoned volunteer from the Springdale Bike Club. The Details: · Riders need to arrive at Phat Tire 15 minutes prior to their ticketed time. (Note: Parking will be available at Lisa Academy, First Security Bank and the lot behind Emma Bar & Tap) · Riders will be assigned to a guide and a group at check in. · Each ride is expected to take 2 hours with stops along the way. We should have you back at Shiloh Square in time to put your bikes back, grab some food & drink and join in the Christmas on the Creek festivities at Turnbow Park. The tree lighting takes place at 6ish that evening and the Christmas Parade will follow. The Cost: $20 per person $50 per family of 4 or more SKILL LEVEL 5 - 7miles, slow pace (family friendly ride) This is for levels 1+ Flights: Rides begin at 12:00pm, 2:00pm and 3:30pm. There are three rides to choose from: 12:00pm The Hot Cocoa Ride The Springdale Bike Club will tour you around Downtown Springdale visiting some of the stops on the hot cocoa crawl. You'll also visit many of the downtown murals and other features of Downtown Springdale. 2:00pm The Downtown Construction and Architectural Ride Find out a little history of Springdale and what's coming next. This ride will end with a visit with Santa on the historical grounds of Shiloh Square. 3:30pm The Downtown Parade Ride. During this ride you'll enjoy a grand tour of Downtown Springdale that will include a few stops at favorite eateries, breweries, biergartens, and pubs. At the conclusion of this ride you may join the Springdale Bike Club in the world-famous Christmas Parade of the Ozarks hosted by the Rodeo. All times are firm, riders must be checked in 15 minutes prior to each flight and be ready to roll at the scheduled time. Cycling Santa Check-In may be found near the Christmas Tree in Turnbow Park. $20 for individuals and $50 for family.
