Can you smell the pumpkin spice in the air and see the spooky jack-o-lanterns on everybody’s front porch? Well before you know it those pumpkins will begin to look sad and need a place to go. Why trash a pumpkin when you can smash it!? We will have several methods for attendees to “smash” their pumpkins and then afterwards, we will turn the otherwise methane producing waste into a hearty and helpful compost. We will also be collecting leftover Halloween candy so we can send Treats for our Troops. This will take place at none other than St. Cloud’s hidden gem called Peghorn Nature Park & Trail on Tuesday, November 1st from 4pm to 6pm.
