TDA Research, Inc has a position open for a part time janitorial and facilities laborer. TDA is located outside Denver, Colorado with offices in Wheat Ridge and Golden. We have a staff of 110+ mainly engineers and scientists who develop cutting edge chemical processes, materials, and hardware for customers in the defense, aerospace, energy and chemical industries. This position is for approximately 20-24 hours per week. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED and experience in commercial facilities and building janitorial work. The position will clean our office and lab building, as well as perform maintenance tasks as assigned. Duties and Responsibilities: • Order and maintain inventory of all cleaning, restroom, and breakroom supplies. • Empty trash and replace liners. • Take trash and recycling to dumpsters. • Vacuum carpeting. • Clean glass on doors and walls. • Sweep and mop uncarpeted areas. • Clean kitchen areas: table tops, chairs, sinks, counter tops and appliances. • Clean restrooms: sanitize toilets, basins, and urinals. • Refill all restroom and kitchen supplies as needed. • Perform routine facilities tasks including light bulb replacement. • May also sweep walks, clean outside storage areas, remove snow or perform other incidental seasonal tasks. • Will travel between sites, located 4 miles apart, in a personal vehicle • Perform other tasks as needed. Requirements: • HS diploma or GED. • 6 months of experience in commercial facilities and building janitorial work desired • Ability to lift up 50 pounds. • Ability to stand and walk for long periods • Ability to climb and work from ladders. • Current Driver’s License Pay range is $18/hour to $20/hour, without benefits as the position is part-time.
