Hello, to keep this short, my grandmother who I haven’t seen since 2012 is dying of brain cancer. She only has a couple of weeks left. I can’t afford the round trip plane ticket to Paris or the expedited passport renewal. (A dog ate mine last month) I promised her she wouldn’t die without seeing me again. Her favorite daughter (my mom) died in 2011 and we went through that together. She called me every morning and I woke up talking to her while she was having dinner on the other side of the world for years.
