Angels' Salumi & Truffles, is a manufacturer, and wholesaler of a variety of fine quality gourmet foods. We are looking for a person to join our staff in the Warehouse Assistant position. RESPONSABILITIES: • Work under the direction of warehouse manager. • Schedule pickups/drop-offs to customers with appropriate carriers. • Assist in loading and unloading of incoming and outgoing products, often with forklift. May require heavy lifting. • Record incoming items; count/weight and fill out documentation. • Organize and wrap items, prepare orders. • Maintain an organized, clean and safe warehouse environment • Become familiar with the use and importance of LOT numbers. • Understand FILO (First in Last Out) standards and organize products. • Assist in weekly inventory. REQUIREMENTS: • The ideal candidate will be personable, polite, team player and able to lift 50 lbs. • Eager to interface with Customers, Vendors and Coworkers • Use Forklift and pallet jacks to safely move pallets, crates, boxes, etc. • Knowledge Office Word and Excel a plus • Live in North County close to facility • Able to pass a background check • Clean driving record a plus Compensation: $17/hour.
