Description
I am looking for a home for my two large dogs, Violet and Casper, at no fault of their own, They are a bonded mother and son, both pitbull lab mixes, and cannot be separated. Casper loves her very much and is very protective of her.
I am in the process of going through a divorce and am moving to a very small apartment and cannot take them with me. My soon to be ex-husband is in bad health and cannot take care of them.
They are great dogs. Before we moved to Iowa, they lived on a farm. They loved it. They do require however, being mostly indoor dogs as Violet has short hair and doesn’t tolerate the cold well for long periods.
They are great ratters. With a slow introduction they do well with other dogs (large and small), chickens, and cats. Violet especially loves children. Casper has been trained to bird hunt and retrieve. He also knows many hand signals. They are neutered and spayed and current on all vaccinations. I am asking a $100 adoption fee for them both together, to ensure that they go to a good home. This could be somewhat negotiable with the ideal situation.
