Big Creek Construction is currently seeking an experienced Plant Maintenance/Lead-man for its Cedar Creek Stone Quarry in Groesbeck Texas. This position will require someone who is very familiar with the maintenance of the crushing, screening and conveying machines and components that are utilized in a quarry. The ideal person will also be plant lead-man working closely with the plant manager with the day –to-day issues and maintenance planning. They will also assume responsibility of the plants when manager is not on-site. Responsibilities include but not limited to… • Changing bearings, gearboxes, blow bars, vsi tables, shoes, conveyor belts, motors, screens and screen bearings. • Must be able to work well with others, • Be a good communicator, • Recognize issues at plants and making good sound decisions on repairs to take place. • Have good prioritization skills on when repairs take place. • Other jobs as assigned Requirements: • Must have knowledge of MSHA/OSHA regulations • Must have working knowledge of mine operations • Must have maintenance experience in a mine quarry • Must possess leadership skills • Must be a good communicator • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds • Must be able to stand for long periods of time • Must be able to walk for long periods of time • Must be able to bend, stoop, crouch throughout the day • Must pass a Fit For Work Physical • Must pass a drug and alcohol test To apply go to our website at www.bigcreekconstruction.com Click on the Positions Available Tab.
