Employers Overload is looking for a Custodian for a leading wafer manufacturer in industrial NW Portland. The Custodian is responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of areas assigned. Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour Job Responsibilities: - Perform janitorial tasks. - Operates motorized cleaning equipment. - Maintains daily upkeep of assigned area. - Reports incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor. - Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures. Stops at risk behavior of others and self. - Perform work assignments in a team with other employees. - Fill in during staff shortage. - Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: - 3 to 6 months of similar work experience. - Bilingual is a plus. - Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents. - Strong verbal and written communication skills. - Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment and willing to share with team. - Knowledge of the upkeep and care of the cleaning equipment. - Knowledge of cleaning compounds and chemicals, and their safe, efficient use. - Able to walk, stand, stretch, reach, bend, crouch, kneel, and lift up to 50lbs. - Transportation preferred. - Pre-employment screening required.
