Hello and thank you for taking time to read this. We are Portrait of a Nightmare and we are looking for bandmates to form the live band with. We are looking for a 2nd guitar player, synth player, and drummer to be band mates. We are currently 2, Vocals and Guitars (Live). We have a Drummer that we hire currently for shows and we may have found our full time bassist. That being said we are looking for a full time synth player to join the band. The music we have written isn’t meant to be complex, everything is made to be fun and sound good. We have an energetic and theatrical stage show. We are professional and this will be run as a pro situation. We are in our early 30's-40's if that makes a difference to you. We have an 11 song album that was recorded, three songs are released only. We were planning on releasing the remainder but the pandemic cut into it. We have a video that is also unreleased. We have very good industry connections and "friends". For now as you come into the band, you would have to work with the existing material and as new material is created you would be writing material for that with the group. Once again we are looking for bandmates, not hired guns. We have a dark stage aesthetic, we very much enjoy Manson, Rammstein, NIN, Tool, Falling Reverse, Periphery, Northlane, Silverstein, Ice Nine Kills, System, Mistfits- Danzig, alt, rap, electronica, synth, retro, wave etc... and just about every other music out there, we listen to everything. We have full time day jobs currently but we have opportunities to play out and showcase. We have been offered tours and the opportunity to showcase for festival buyers. We dress for the stage, but that doesn't mean we are like that in real life. We are performers, so the look is for the stage.
