Aight. I know this is quite possibly the sexiest musician wanted position of all time. So just lower your expectations right now. There will be hundreds of applicants, if not thousands. Shoot your shot. But just know the spot is coveted. We are of the most prime age of musician - late 30's, early 40s. Labels are clamoring for that demo, as I'm sure you know. Some ex-touring punk rockers looking for a good excuse to get out of the house and play some tunes and get our piece of the infinitely lucrative music business. Maybe play some shows, drink cheap american beer, bum a cig when our wives aren't looking. Clever copywriting aside. We are 3 dudes with a fair amount of experience. 2 guitar players (one a vocalist) and a bass player. Looking to form a cover band focusing on the Fat Wreck generation of punk. Nofx, Bouncing Souls, Lagwagon, Face To Face, Bad Religion, Rancid, Less Than Jake, Strung Out ETC. The plan has not been fully fleshed out past that point. Have some fun, practice once a week and see if we are foolish enough to book some shows where fellow aging punks can get drunk and sing along with us. Get crazy and go see some fancy places like tacoma and spokane. We all write songs too, so maybe in a moment of hubris record an EP. Who knows, the world is our studded belt to pull out of storage and realize it doesn't fit. Who are you? Someone with a kit that can play along to the bands I mentioned. With enough free time to commit to 1 practice a week. Ideally you don't suck. Don't drive a car with a giant flag pole off the roof with something you think is clever written on it.
