JOB DESCRIPTION: We are looking for a Sign Production Associate to join our team in Riverside, MO. This position includes sign production as well as interacting with the public in a courteous and professional manner. Must be professional, solution-oriented individual and have a positive attitude. Must be organized, detail-oriented, work well in a fast-paced team environment, and can efficiently manage many projects at once. PLEASE NOTE: This position requires limited design responsibilities. If you are solely a graphic designer without sign production experience, please do not apply DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES THAT THE CANDIDATE WILL LEARN INCLUDE: • Create all types of signs • Document processes and create checklists • Send files to print using Versaworks. • Running a Roland Inkjet Printer (SOLJET Pro 4 XR-640) • Ability to use an X-Acto knife, squeegee and ruler efficiently and safely. • Load and cut vinyl on a Roland plotter. • Mask, weed and apply vinyl to various substrates. • Properly load and use a Royal Sovereign laminator • Follow standard safety precautions while using all machinery • Perform routine machine maintenance/cleanings and minor repairs, as needed • Meet Sign Production Timelines • Assist with sign, vehicle, and window graphics installations. • Keep a running inventory of all stock and supplies • Maintain cleanliness and organization of production areas, storage spaces • Perform quality assurance measures, pre- and post-production • Accurately track electronic and paper records related to jobs • Learn new technologies, skills, and techniques for continuous self-improvement • Follow all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes QUALIFICATIONS: • Experience with sign production • Must be computer knowledgeable and willing to learn to be proficient in various software programs. • Experience with Coreldraw, Versaworks, and Microsoft Office • Have excellent communication and customer service skills. • Strong organization skills • Able to work well under pressure to output high volume, high-quality work • Able to use light power equipment PHYSICAL DEMANDS: • Must be able to place onto and retrieve various types of substrates from a substrate rack including the upper shelves. • Must be in good physical condition and be able to lift over 50 lbs. • Able to work outdoors in various weather conditions for long periods of time • Must have the flexibility to lean over a waist-high table and use back forth hand motions to apply vinyl letters and graphics to a substrate OTHER REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE: • Reliable personal transportation • Clean criminal record • Clean driving record • Valid Driver’s License
