The Following are the general skills required: • At least 1 year working with scrap metal, but willing to train the right person. • Able to deal with different type of customers • Responsible for maintaining work area clean and organized • Able to get customers in and out as soon as possible • Knowledge operating forklift Doosan Diesel sit own forklift. • Able to see well and distinguish between back up alarms, voices, and other normal sounds consistent with construction job sites. Coordinate machine actions with other activities, positioning or moving loads in response to hand or audio signals from crew members. • Some understanding of steel recycling materials is a plus but not necessarily • Able to organize bins, make pallets and boxes • Able to keep himself busy, not only operating forklift but sweeping when needed, or other responsibilities as needed. The Following are the general requirements for employment: • Comply with all company safety procedures • Pass a pre-employment drug test • Have reliable transportation • Able to work in a fast-paced growing business environment • Work Monday through Friday and overtime as necessary • This is a physical job; applicant must be able to: • Work outdoors in variety of weather conditions • Lift or carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds • Sit or stand for long periods • Not afraid to get dirty • Other duties may be assigned Safety - PPE required includes steel toed shoes, hard hat, safety glasses. Pay Rate DOE: between $18.00 and $22.00 This is a full-time position with benefit options.
