**I rescued her from the street and she needs a home** Inara is a smoochy, lovey, cuddly little package wrapped in a cloud of grace and class. She has a balanced level of extraversion- coming immediately for attention if you invite her, but not seeking it out independently. Once you do invite affection, she’ll purr and rub all over you, crawl in your lap and knead her little paws. She just loves physical affection, and is tolerant of handling and restraint. She’s a big fan of adults and kids alike. She and Samantha have definitely become buds. She is an observant girl who likes to watch the world go by, either from under a comfy chair or in a windowsill. Don’t mistake this for fear- she just likes to relax and contemplate the world. Got other pets? That’s cool- if they’re cool. Inara is a little judgey of other animals and will let them know with a well-practiced hiss. If she lives in a multi-pet household she will do best with some space she can retreat to on her own. Young, boisterous, or pushy animals are on her no-thanks list. After 3 weeks in our care she is tolerating our dog and cat more and more. Inara is likely middle-aged; 5 is our best guess. She’s vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed. She’s about 2lbs overweight and will benefit from controlled portions of high quality wet food to achieve a svelte figure. Adoption fee $75 to cover a portion of her medical costs.
