Punk rock on ukuleles and melodicas? Of Course!

Would love to find some folks who play instruments which are usually not found in rock bands to play some quirky covers at open mics and perhaps migrate over to quirky originals. I play ukulele, recorder (soprano, alto, tenor, & bass), melodica, bell kit, Casio keyboard, etc. Being a geezer (I'm 59) I dig punk, new wave, power pop, 70's rock, 90's alternative (Superchunk, Pixies, Mats, Blake Babies, etc) anything quirky. The past few days I have been binge listening to beabadoobee and looking forward to the show at 9:30. I'm in Falls Church but don't mind a bit of driving to get to practice.
