Hello, my name is Teddy, I am a full time musician. I have a 6 year old son who has been having a lot of fun playing and creating music with me since he was a baby and recently he told me he wanted to be in a band like his dad! So I want to give this a go and reach out to other parents who have kids interested in playing music. The starting age doesn’t really matter. He now plays drums, piano, sings and records. He’s still a kid so we just want to have fun and explore music. I would give lessons once a week and have band rehearsals once a week. The goal would be to teach the kids how to play their instruments, learn cover songs, write and record original songs, play local gigs where their family and friends get to come cheer them on! They would learn scales, chords and songwriting but the main goal is to have fun playing and creating music. The instruments include but not limited to singing, keyboards/piano, guitar, drums and whatever other instruments you may want to play. The exchange would be for 1-30 minutes of lesson: $30/day 1-30 minutes of band rehearsal: $30 Also, I used to be a Special Educator for some years so I have a lot of patience and experience with kids.
