Looking for a Collaborator - indie/new wave inspired

Hello all! I'm looking for someone to help write and create some indie/semi-80s inspired pieces of music with. Heavy influences on indie bands from the early/mid 2000's that are still going (Arctic Monkeys, The Strokes, Vampire Weekend, The National, Tame Impala, Modest Mouse) and some 80's/new wave flair in there from bands like The Cars, Joy Division, Flock of Seagulls, or whatever was on that GTA Vice City soundtrack. I'm not a singer, so hopefully you are - or we can manage somehow! This isn't meant to be a full band (though it could morph into that if we decided we wanted to), more just a writing team looking to put out some songs and maybe try and put together a few low-key shows or just do open-mic nights if we can work through the logistics of it all. I have a number of pieces that are half-baked, or flushed out that could use some help around the edges, and I would love to work on whatever you have going too! I also have a simple studio set up in the basement, bunch of guitars, bass, and use Ableton for drums and synths, so have access to a lot here. Still learning the mixing/mastering stages, but that's just part of the process. Full disclosure for people who care about this: 30 year old guy, with a wife, dog, kids, house, job, so I do have other things going on outside of music, hence why I don't want to label this as a band at the moment and get anyone's hopes up about a set "practice schedule" or anything like that. This is more a work at our own pace, see what we can make kind of group, and create things that we're proud of. Let's do this!
