Marjan Stone currently seeking to hire a Field Supervisor and/or Quality Control Inspector, you will be responsible for performing sampling, measuring, and verifying that fabricated/installed countertops meet pre-determined quality standards. APPLICANT MUST HAVE SOME INSTALLER EXPERIENCE TO APPLY FOR THIS POSITION. Job Duties: • Inspect finished pieces, pieces being fabricated, incoming materials, slabs, assemblies, etc., for conformance to pre-determined standards in the shop and out in the field. • Randomly inspects selected samples to verify accuracy of fabrication. • Prepare and maintain inspection reports, nonconformance reports, quality control logs, identification tags, and labels to established procedures. Benefits: Health Vacation Good working environment Stable company Skills and Qualifications: • All candidates must have a minimum of 3 years QC/QA experience in machine shop environment. • Ability to read/interpret prints or CAD drawings per ANSI/ASME Y.14.5. • Solid View/Mastercam or other CAD experience desirable. • Previous mechanical inspection background with ability to use basic hand measurement tools, i.e., calipers, micrometers, thread gauges, etc. preferred. • Experience with reading drawing specifications. • Self-starter and required minimal supervision. • Excellent organizational skills.
