Field Supervisor Marjan Stone currently seeking to hire a Field Supervisor and/or Quality Control Inspector, you will be responsible for performing sampling, measuring, and verifying that fabricated/installed countertops meet pre-determined quality standards. APPLICANT MUST HAVE INSTALLER EXPERIENCE TO APPLY FOR THIS POSITION. Job Duties: Inspect finished pieces, pieces being fabricated, incoming materials, slabs, assemblies, etc., for conformance to pre-determined standards in the shop and out in the field. Randomly inspects selected samples to verify accuracy of fabrication. Prepare and maintain inspection reports, nonconformance reports, quality control logs, identification tags, and labels to established procedures. Benefits: Health Vacation Good working environment Stable company Skills and Qualifications: All candidates must have a minimum of 3 years QC/QA experience in machine shop environment. Ability to read/interpret prints or CAD drawings per ANSI/ASME Y.14.5. Solid View/Mastercam or other CAD experience desirable. Previous mechanical inspection background with ability to use basic hand measurement tools, i.e., calipers, micrometers, thread gauges, etc. preferred. Experience with reading drawing specifications. Self-starter and required minimal supervision. Excellent organizational skills.
