We are actively seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Pool Service Technician Assistant to be part of our company. We will train you to assist in service and maintenance of customers’ swimming pools. Your tasks will include testing the pool water’s chemical levels, adding chlorine, acid, and other chemicals, skimming, brushing etc. Applicants must be able to work around and properly handle the administration of hazardous pool chemicals. We are looking for a self-starter with a solid work ethic and willingness to learn. More importantly, our pool Service Technicians and assistants know to interact in a friendly and professional manner with our customers. Pool Service Technician Assistant Duties & Responsibilities: Arrive on time at the customer’s location Test pool waters chemical levels Add needed chemicals such as chlorine, acid, etc. to correct water chemical levels Vacuum, skim, and brush inside of customer's pool. Use our company pool equipment properly. Must be able to pass a basic math test Minor repairs and service to broken pool cleaning equipment Test and service pool water system; pump and filters Be respectful of customer’s property and items. Manage company pool chemicals and equipment in the vehicle Maintain a stocked inventory of chemicals and equipment Properly handle reporting of each pool task. Be efficient and thorough on every pool maintenance and service. Pool Service Technician Assistant Requirements: Valid driver's license High school diploma or equivalent Willingness to obtain knowledge of swimming pool chemicals and their properties Ability to lift heavy equipment Ability to work in harsh weather conditions Professional appearance Open to applicants who do not have a college diploma Job Type: Full-time Typical shift time: 7:00am - 3:30pm Monday to Friday Overtime sometimes required Salary: From $16.50 per hour Benefits: Paid time off
