Established Country Band Seeking Lead Singer / Front Man

After 9 successful years, our current front man and co-lead singer has decided to phase himself out of the band and live music. This is a great opportunity for the right person to step into a turn-key role with an established band with a great reputation and strong contacts. We are a 5 piece country band with Lead Guitar/Co-Lead Vocals; Rhythm Guitar/Co-Lead Vocals/Front Man; Pedal Steel Guitar/Banjo; Bass and Drums. Current material includes covers from the classics to current hits and everything between, but mostly all #1 hits. For 2023 we will be adding a few originals to the mix. An average year is 70 to 80 shows, mostly in Northern California and Nevada. Some overnight travel is also possible for the right opportunities. Recently we have turned down events in San Diego, BC Canada, Wyoming, Nevada, Texas and others due to scheduling limitations. Our ideal candidate: - Male lead vocalist (21 years or older) with good range and ability to sing harmonies - Proficient acoustic rhythm guitar player (but also comfortable singing and performing without a guitar when appropriate) - Good entertainer – Confident and comfortable on stage; Comfortable interacting with a crowd in a professional manner; Good stage presence and image. - Ability to sing lead on ½ to 2/3 of the material on any given night; Able to perform 2 and sometimes 3 nights in a row. - Professional equipment (guitar, wireless microphone and in-ear monitors) - Reliable transportation - Able to attend occasional rehearsals at our studio in Rancho Cordova. - Flexible schedule, especially on weekends in peak months. Able to play the occasional show on a weeknight as well. - Able and willing to travel for the right opportunity – nothing long term, but a few days once in a while. - Willing to do weddings where you could be on site for 12 hours. - No hang ups or habits such as drugs or frequent use of alcohol We are professionals and the quality of our music and stage show is always our first priority.
