I am searching for a responsible forever home for my beloved 4 yr old 65 lb brown/white pit bull mix Jerry. Jerry is the best. He's got a great nature, happy go lucky, a good listener and very friendly. He's up to date on rabies and neutered. He's healthy and not destructive. I am devastated by having to consider re-homing him but due to severe health problems and financial difficulty with housing, I feel he deserves a real permanent home. I recently had to move back with my mother after a surgery and her condo has the breed restrictions on large dogs and it's getting legal that I have to re-home him. Jerry is a hand raised therapy dog. He is trained outside and obeys commands when taught. He is sensitive to people with sickness, old people, kids. He barely barks, except when playing or after he eats he needs a belly rub. He's playfully lazy and is fine with all kinds of people and animals. He's been living with the upstairs cat just fine. He does require more socialization with other dogs as he seems to be protective when approach & they are off leash. He is very affectionate and a true best friend. I am looking to have him in a home with a yard and a loving family to grow with. Please let me know if interested.
