We are a privately owned, local management company in Lansing looking for a trustworthy, customer service oriented, experienced maintenance technician to help maintain apartment buildings in the greater Lansing area. A strong work ethic and good people skills are a must! Your main areas of responsibility will be: Fulfilling resident work orders Preparing units for the next resident Ensuring unit is operational and up to code Replace/upgrade unit when necessary (new cabinets, sinks, faucets, tile etc.) Working with suppliers and property managers Maintenance of common areas and building exteriors Ability to work independently and complete tasks in a timely manner This position requires you to be on call some nights and weekends Requirements: Valid driver’s license Reliable transportation Pass background screening High school degree or equivalent A minimum of 3 years’ experience in most, but not necessarily all of the following areas: - Electrical - Plumbing - Lock installation - HVAC - General carpentry - Drywall repair Equal Opportunity Employer – Pre-employment background check required.
