Job Summary The Service Technician works under the direction of the Director of Operations: Transports and delivers CO2 and other gases to customers at various locations. Services, maintains, inspects, repairs and installs various CO2 and beer equipment. Provides training on equipment to customers, new employees and other distributors. Job Duties and Responsibilities 1. Delivers CO2 and other gases to customers. 2. Help provide training to new employees and distributors. 3. Diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions when needed. 4. Set up installations of CO2 and specialty equipment and gases for beer systems (generators, mixers etc.) in New customer’s locations. 5. Diagnose and determine proper course of action on installation errors, damaged, or defective on equipment malfunctions. 6. Communicate with the Scheduling Specialist for new installations and servicing of other equipment systems. 7. Provide management daily reports and records. 8. Coordinate with Service Technicians/Operating Staff to track quality issues and help develop solutions. 9. Assist customers with trouble shooting various equipment. Provide information to customers as needed to help enhance the efficiency of our product in their facility. Make sure the customer has a full understanding of how our equipment functions. Give training to customers when needed so they understand the proper use of the system. 10. Maintain professional demeanor with clients and customers including fellow employees. 11. Responsible for maintaining the up keep of all company vehicles, equipment and shop facilities. Coordinate with the purchasing department for reorder of products. 12. Shift and hours may vary to accommodate the customer’s needs this includes possible weekends. Required to be on call as needed. 13. Assist the Operations Department when needed. 14. Assist with annual equipment inspections. 15. Assist with Fire Department inspections as needed. Job Requirements 1. Must have or obtain a CDL A or B Driver’s License 2. Must be able to obtain Hazmat, Airbrakes and Tanker endorsements. 3. Must be able to pass the FDA TSA background check for DOT Hazmat requirements. 4. Ability to apply basic driving skills. 5. Knowledge of DOT regulation, not required but highly recommended. 6. Knowledge of OSHA regulations, not required but highly recommended. 7. Ability to work in all weather conditions. 8. Must be able to lift 75lb on a regular basis. 9. Must be able to meet MVR minimum requirements. Minimum Qualifications 1 – 2 years’ truck driving experience preferred Must be able to pass a drug screen and criminal background check Minimum High School Diploma or GED
