Ukraine is considered one of the most corrupt countries on earth. The Ukrainian government had started an investigation in Burisma, and VP Biden demanded that the prosecutor be removed from the investigation, or he (Biden) will withhold money. It just so happens that Burisma was considered one of the most corrupt companies in a corrupt country. It just so happens that Biden's son was a major player and would be seriously hurt IF an investigation went forward. President Trump asked that the corruption investigation go forward as the Ukraine had started. It was not a personal favor. Biden put pressure on the Saudis to produce more oil. The Crown Prince was going to reduce production to 50,000 per day; then Biden went over; and the next day, the Saudis decided to change it to a reduction of 100,000 per day. Biden's effort is acceptable to help US interests, even though he was a total failure. Biden's mistake was getting on TV and saying that he wanted the Saudis (and OPEC) to hold off on oil reduction until AFTER our midterms. That is not in the interest of the American public, but the best interest of democratc that need to be elected. His goal was for political gain.
