Volunteer Drivers Needed to Deliver Groceries to the Homebound

Do you enjoy driving? Have a secret desire to be a delivery person? Want to discover more of your community, while helping others in need? If you answered, "YES," now is your chance to sign up to volunteer as a “River Runner” with The River Food Pantry! We need more volunteer drivers to pick up groceries from The River to deliver to our homebound neighbors facing food insecurity. Approximately 70–100 Dane County households—including children, seniors and people with disabilities who lack transportation—depend on this free contactless delivery service every week to survive. If you or someone you know is available to make deliveries between 10am–2pm on Tuesdays and/or Thursdays, please let us know!
