Rehoming our family dog.. Her name is Shiko, she's an 7 year old pom westie mix(75% pom 25% westie), her birthday is January 2nd... She isn't spayed, and is a little behind on her rabies this year, had plans on updating her shots and spay this summer, but ran into difficult times this year. She's never had any health concerns over her 7 years with us, other than a sensitivity to stress and sometimes chicken based foods.... We are rehoming her because she isn't thriving in our home. She is lovely, sweet, and spunky, but dislikes children and bigger then her goofy hyper dogs..... So she bites our kids constantly and fights with our other dog all of the time, then out of frustration pees in the house, or gets stress hot spots.. She is potty trained, but not when she is stressed and left unattended..... We have tried for 2 and half years to make it work for her, but its simply not fair on her. She deserves to live a happy life also.. She would do great in a childless home - or a home with teenagers, she gets along great with dogs her size or old dogs\calm dogs, we don't have cats, but she's been great with the ones we've met... She loves playing fetch, hiking, swimming, kayaking, she's a great barn dog too, is a great little hunter! Doesn't know to many tricks, sit, sit pretty, sing\whisper, down, kennel up.. We all absolutely adore Shiko, rehoming fee applies, being very picky about her future home. I just want her to be able to be happy and thrive.
