Featuring performances by the Greenwich A Cappella Elite Group singers and the Grace Notes. BENEFIT CONCERT: The Greenwich A Cappella Elite Group is an audition-only, advanced group comprised of singers in grades 6 through 9. Each month the Elite Group performs at community events around Greenwich. Past performances in Old Greenwich include First Light and the Old Greenwich School Pumpkin Patch festival. This spring, the Elite Group is traveling to Orlando, Florida to participate in the National A Cappella Convention. Learn more about the National A Cappella Convention at www.acappellaconvention.com. All concert proceeds go directly the support the trip cost for each singer. DETAILS: Friday, October 21 at 7 PM. Doors open at 6:45 PM. LOCATION: Athena Books at 228 Sound Beach Ave in Old Greenwich, CT. Shop while you listen - 10% of all proceeds go to support the singers. TICKETS: Purchase Patron Reserved Seating tickets to make sure all members of your party have designated seats to see the performers up close without having to wait in line before the performance. Seats will be assigned in order of purchase. Patron Reserved Seating tickets are $75. General Admission ticket seating is first come, first served and is behind the Reserved Seating area. Doors will open to the audience at 6:45 PM PM, fifteen minutes before the performance. General Admission tickets are $35. Can't make the concert but want to support the singers? Ticket sales open Monday, October 10 at 7 AM. ABOUT GREENWICH A CAPPELLA: Greenwich A Cappella provides high-caliber singing instruction in a fun and engaging way. With programs for singers in grades 1 through 9, Greenwich A Cappella helps young musicians develop music skills and confidence while building friendships and working as a team. The Pre-A Cappella Group is for singers in grades 1 and 2 and introduces the essential skills of singing in a group. The Junior Group is for singers in grades 3 through 5 and teaches the fundamentals of a cappella music and performing. The Premier Group is for singers in grades 6 through 9. Each semester, the Premier Group records a song using professional studio recording equipment and films a professionally-produced music video. The Elite Group is for advanced singers in grades 6 through 9. Singers perform monthly around the Greenwich community and travel to Orlando, Florida in the spring to participate in the National A Cappella Convention.
