Are you hungry for LOBSTERS and SHRIMP? The Kiwanis Club of Lynchburg is trucking over 2,000 fresh lobsters from Boothbay Harbor, Maine and 2,000 pounds of fresh shrimp from Oriental, North Carolina just for you. The lobsters will be taken from the waters in Boothbay, packed live in seaweed with cold packs in coolers; the shrimp will be packed on ice and delivered to the YMCA Express parking lot on Saturday, November 12, 2022 for pick up between 10am and 11am. The lobsters (which average 1.25 pounds) are $20 each. Kiwanis will happily cook your lobster for an additional $2 each. The "tickets" are available in quantities of 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 10 (saves on the CC transaction fee!). If you need a different number please send me a message and I'll make a ticket for any number you want! Big delicious shrimp will be packed by the pound and available raw or cooked. If you want to order by check, mail to PO Box 4372, Lynchburg, VA 24502. Include the number of lobsters you want, live or cooked; pounds of shrimp you need and your name/address/phone number and a check! Checks must be received by November 9. All proceeds will go to our community projects and support of our Service Leadership Programs including our 7 Key Clubs, 4 CKI Clubs and Terrific Kids programs.
