FREE & IN PERSON! What is a Kindness Clinic? An interesting and informative event that explores the role kindness plays in the pursuit of happiness. You'll delve into the neuroscience of your brain's pleasure/reward centers and learn what actions you can take to become a happier and healthier human. Judi Swanson, founder of Kindness Champions, is an experienced mental health professional who believes each person has the ability to become happier just by making some tweaks and adding a habit or two that will give you feelings of satisfaction and well-being. Judi says, "Your brain's pleasure/reward centers will light up like a pinball machine with all sorts of happiness bursting throughout your brain." Who doesn't want that? Judi knows and believes this is something everyone can do and everyone can achieve. She is on a mission to share this information with as many people as possible to help the world become kinder and happier. That's it. No sales, no programs, no time-share, no supplements. Just one woman seeking to make the world a better place by sharing her lifetime of professional experience and learning with you. Kindness Champions is an organization that celebrates everyone's unique, remarkable awesome by being kind to themselves and to others. This listing is for Wednesday, October 26 from 7 – 8 PM. Alternatively you could sign up for Saturday, November 5 from 10 am – 11 am if that suits you better. Both Kindness Clinics will be the same. While it's not mandatory, we'd love it if you could RSVP. It'll help us know how many goodies and chairs to put out. Where? What's Good is hosing this free and in person hour of happy at our shop in Fairport because Judi is our friend and we love what she's doing with Kindness Champions. We're a woman-owned, small business offering eco and socially responsible household essentials and gifts from makers who care about the planet and people, too.
