Urgent Opening for: Experienced Apartment Maintenance Technician and a Cleaning/Janitorial staff Well-established property management company is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician and Cleaning staff. Looking to fill these positions for both of our Berkeley and Oakland location. Qualified applicants must have 2-3 Years Experience in the Following: 1.) Maintenance Technician -General building maintenance expertise from median to advanced skills to include; * Construction/skilled trade * Electrical, carpentry, grounds/landscaping, * Remodeling - Kitchen, Bathroom and Plumbing * Counter top installation with experience in all counter top surface, (ex. Ceramic, Granite) * Appliance repair and installation * Heater and boiler repair * Installing tile in shower area * Interior and exterior painting * Cleaning and apartment turnover. -Must be able to complete work order forms, take direction, be organized, and possess the ability to effectively communicate with supervisor, owner and residents. -Applicant must enjoy working with the tenants/employee's at the property and take on all tasks with a friendly "can-do" attitude. -We need a person who can work independently while at the same time possessing the ability to use common sense to accomplish the tasks required efficiently and effectively. Someone who is self-motivated and willing to step in and help out wherever necessary. 2.) Cleaning/Janitorial (for Berkeley and Oakland location) We are looking for cleaning person to work for our apartment building, full time position. All candidates must have: -Legal status for work -Own reliable transportation -Be Honest and punctual -Must have Experience cleaning buildings and apartments -Verifiable references Job requires to be active going around the apartment complexes, bending down to clean in hard to reach areas, lift up to 20lbs, sweep common areas, clean the rental office, clean trash chutes. Making sure that the vacant apartments are clean and ready to move in. Normal and Deep cleaning of units such as: de grease stoves and ovens, toilets and tubs, clean floor tiles and grout. Must be detailed oriented and not need constant supervision. Please reply to ad and attach your resume for immediate consideration.
