Sunday, November 6. Festival of the Altars! Dia de los Muertos arts and crafts! This is our biggest event of the year! Volunteers needed to assist with craft activities for kids. Adult volunteers also needed for crowd control. While not required, ability to speak Spanish is helpful. 3:45 pm – 8:15 pm: 10 volunteers needed to help with craft activities. There will be opportunities to make papel picado, sugar skulls, flowers, and trajineras. 3:45 pm – 8:15 pm: 5 guides needed to help with crowd control – giving directions at doors and assisting with the line to see the Day of the Dead altars (usually a 40 minute wait in line).
