Description

Where are all of the 36-49 year olds (give or take) that grew up to and want to play 90s and 2000s music? I'm a dedicated guitarist (rhythm or lead), have gigged plenty in the past, and am looking for a new project playing the fun music that I love most. Anyone else out there? I want a 90s and 2000s alternative/rock/pop/punk/grunge tribute band (covers) to get out and gig in Santa Cruz county and possibly beyond if it's lucrative. I want others that are passionate about this music and can do it justice. I have a regular full time job but I can dedicate the time needed to get out and gig a couple of times a month. Bands I'm thinking of are, in no particular order: Alice in Chains, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Smashing Pumpkins, Sublime, Weezer, The Pixies, REM, The Strokes, Third Eye Blind, Greenday, Blink-182, Offspring, Radiohead, Coldplay, Stone Temple Pilots, Modest Mouse, Pearl Jam, Foo Fighters, The Cure, Oasis, Nine Inch Nails, The Cranberries, Everclear, Incubus, Deftones, Linkin Park, Arctic Monkeys, System of a Down, Cake, Barenaked Ladies, Blur, The Shins, Queens of the Stone Age, some forgotten bands with a couple of great songs like Dishwala, Fastball, Wheatus, Jimmy Eat World, The Toadies, Cracker, Better than Ezra, Jet, Spacehog, Gin Blossoms... I don't have the time and energy to get 4-5 people learning and playing originals, and I don't want to play 60s, 70s, or 80s songs. I want a fun tribute to the best and most fun music from the 90s and 2000s. If this sounds like something that you want to be a part of, if you've actually gigged in the past and can play the drums, bass, guitar, keys, and/or sing, then hit me up!
