REGISTER NOW The Women's Fund is now a different type of collective giving organization called “The Women’s Fund Giving Circle”. The wonderful mission to improve the lives of women and families in the Redding area through collective philanthropy continues, just in a different format. The giving circle will meet twice a year to hear from select organizations about their work and vote on which one will receive a donation from The Circle at the meeting. WHAT TO EXPECT AT THE GIVING CIRCLE EVENT... At this inaugural meeting of The Women’s Fund Giving Circle, organizations selected by The Women’s Fund Grant Review Panel will make brief presentations to TWF Giving Circle participants. Immediately following the presentations, TWF Giving Circle participants will vote to select one of the organizations to receive additional funds from the Giving Circle participants. Giving Circle participants each commit to making a $100 donation to the organization selected by vote of the giving circle participants. The Women’s Fund reimagined is now just direct giving, no more memberships or operating expenses! Contact us at [email protected] for more information. NOTE: As of July 1, 2022, TWF no longer collects donations through membership. The Women’s Fund Endowment Fund continues to be managed by the Community Foundation of the North State. Annual grants will continue to be made from the remainder of the operating funds and Endowment Fund each Fall to support organizations serving women and their families in the greater Redding Area.
