The April Parker Foundation, through its Sofly Surf School (founded in 2021), aspires to provide positive social impact and reduce health disparities amongst Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) by providing equitable access to our Surf Therapy program. Our goal is to make Surf Therapy a low-barrier activity to increase our community’s physical, mental, and social well-being to reduce the negative impact of COVID-19.
The Sofly Surf School is a Program of the April Parker Foundation; a 501(c)3 non-profit. This grant program is funded by the City’s Measure US. These funds support public health, climate change efforts, and youth program development in the city.
