Building Services Contractor seeks an experienced Supervisor with Handyman experience to join our management team. Fast paced environment. Excellent growth and advancement opportunities. Handyman and Supervisory experience is required. Ideal Candidates Must be: Over 26 years of age and legally able to work in the US. Organized, detailed and quality driven. Bilingual in English AND Spanish is a MUST. MUST have valid driver's license and clean driving and background record. MUST be able to travel to Ft. Myers, Tampa and Orlando occasionally in company vehicle. Responsibilities include: Supervise company's janitorial employees. Respond to Service Calls for Handyman work orders. Assess and resolve maintenance issues. Visit clients and employees at work sites to ensure proper work product, train and assist. Ensure employees have needed work supplies. Train and work alongside employes with OJT. Inspect client sites for compliance. Respond to any emergencies - able to be On-Call for emergencies. Regular schedule is Mon-Fri with one Saturday a month rotation. Must have flexibility for some weekend and OT work. Opportunities for extra income through discretionary Performance Bonuses and projects. Candidates must: Have a valid driver's license and clean driving record. Be able to pass a background and drug screen. Be able to use basic e-mail. Company issues a smartphone. Have provable Handyman/Maintenance and Repair Technician experience. Service Calls are Typically Simple Jobs Like: - Fixing doors, cabinets, hinges, handles, simple woodwork, etc. - Fixing dental equipment and supply lines. - Fixing basic plumbing like clogs, flappers, flushing mechanisms, toilets, sinks, drains, faucets, filters, etc. - Basic electrical such as changing lights, ballasts, fixtures switches, outlets, switches and troubleshooting, etc. - Patching and fixing drywall, installing backing, prep and painting. - Fix minor flooring issues with carpeting, tile, VCT, transitions, etc. - General repairs and labor duties, hanging frames, moving furniture, etc. - Any experience in Dental Equipment repairs is a PLUS and opportunity for additional income. - Any experience or certification in HVAC a plus. Supervision includes: - Supervising cleaning employees at their work sites. -Training employees. -Managing projects.
