We wanted to put together this Catholic Styled Shoot in hopes to bring more Catholic Vendors together as well as helping to build photographer's and videographer's portfolios. This session will be held on November 6, 2022 at St Isaac Jogues in St Clair Shores. We will start with a luncheon where everyone will get to know each other and network together. You can expect to see photographers, videographers, hair stylists, florists, wedding coordinators, MUAs, and of course, our wonderful models. Use of photo and video for your portfolio Networking with other wedding vendors Lunch in meeting space Promotional videos Models dressed in Wedding and engagement attire along with hair and makeup Use of wedding accessories for photos such as flowers, invites, rosaries, etc... A great opportunity now that wedding season is ending for most Our models will consist of 2 married couples dressed in their wedding attire along with our "engaged" couple (they are actually married) that will be in typical attire you would expect for an engagement session. There will also be beautiful props to create lay flat images for your use! Things to know/ bring: Bring your camera, sd cards, batteries, flash and reflectors. Bring posing ideas. Bring business cards to share with each other. We will provide food and water. Please bring other non-alcoholic beverages of your choice. Dress warm as it will be November in Michigan! Keep in mind, you will be in church so please treat the church with respect. Timeline for the day: For models only- Meet at Marlaina's house to get hair and makeup done at noon. Address will be sent prior to shoot. For all others: 1:30 pm: Meet in the basement of the church for lunch and networking. Go in through the main entrance, turn left and go down the stairs. 2:20 pm: Marlaina and Victoria introduction and prayer. Explanation of what to expect. 2:30 pm: Photographers and Videographers start working your magic! 4:30 pm: 30 minute break for models if needed. 6:15pm: Wrap up and finish photo and video. 6:25 pm: Marlaina and Victoria thank yous. 6:30 pm: Leave the church Since the church has decided to be so gracious and host us for this event, I ask that if you are comfortable, send your finished images to them so they may use the images for promotional purposes to hopefully have more weddings in the future!
