Description
If you are looking to "save" a dog and not buy one then go to local high kill shelters they have low fees and the dogs are in desperate need of home.
For the posts claiming they need an emotional support animal or service dog, before you give your pet to those homes make sure their landlords are 100% on board because people are getting dogs with out their landlords knowledge then having to re home them again because their landlord found out and they are pretending the dogs are an ESA or SD by using the online registrations that are all fake!
Service dogs need to be task trained and the ADA does not protect service dogs in training. Not all dogs are equipped to be a SD so do not fall for the line "he/she will be an ESA then trained as a SD." Unless they have a SD trainer to evaluate the dog before hand do not fall for it. You may think the dog you are placing would be a good SD but unless you are a trainer then do not make that judgement.
You can get in trouble even evicted for faking a SD or ESA dog or letter.
