Annie Olson will share her recent experience of being invited to attend “An Evening with Sacheen Littlefeather” at The Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in Los Angeles. Annie will discuss the circumstances surrounding Marlon Brando’s refusal of the Oscar for Best Actor in “The Godfather” in March 1973 to protest the mis-portrayal of Native Americans by the Film Industry. Join us at the Holland Museum, 31 W. 10th Street, for this community discussion. This is a free event, but donations are encouraged. This program is a collaboration between the Alliance for Cultural and Ethnic Harmony (ACEH) and the Holland Museum.
