Incredible Opportunity for Talented and Enthusiastic Individual to Join Our Team Retail Seafood Sales Wild Salmon Seafood Market, Seattle’s Premier Seafood Purveyor, is looking for PERMANENT FULL-TIME and PART-TIME “Fishmongers”” for our busy seafood market located in historic Fishermen’s Terminal. This position encompasses all our departments: retail seafood sales-counter help, wholesale seafood sales and shipping seafood. Growth opportunities are available for the qualified candidate. Our business is growing, and new positions are now available. If you are dependable, enjoy working with the public with an emphasis on customer service, work well with others, can work in a busy environment, and possess a strong work ethic we are willing to train regardless of experience. CURRENTLY WE HAVE BOTH FULL-TIME and PART-TIME POSTIONS AVAILABLE We are willing to train qualified individuals regardless of past retail and/or seafood experience. Qualifications should include but are not required. • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent. • The ability to speak and understand English. • Prior food service and/or restaurant (kitchen) experience helpful but not required. • Demonstrates a high level of self-motivation; takes initiative; problem solve. • Possess a genuine interest and enthusiasm for seafood. • Excellent customer service skills; superior communication skills. • Proven ability to positively affect sales generation. • Cleaning and maintaining a sanitary and safe work environment. • Follow the highest standards of food safety. • Possess a positive attitude and be a team player. • Ability to report to work on time as scheduled ready to work. • The ability to cut and portion a variety of seafood beneficial but we are willing to train the right individual. • Physical qualifications: Able to stand for long periods of time, ability to lift 50 lbs. • Comprehensive seafood knowledge beneficial, but we are willing to train the right individual. • We are open 7 days a week and need candidates to be available within our regular operating hours from 8:30 AM – 5 PM. • Weekend availability is required.
