disabled vet needs help with cost of spaying his dog

Hi; My friend is a 57 year old disabled vet with schizofrenia. He used to be homeless but i found him a home in Colorado for 7 years where he lived and he was displaced out of his home and is now living with his elderly parents in Seattle and they dont have the money to help him spay his sweet dog. The dog is his service animal and really helps this guy cope with life. The vet bill is $1000 and he cannot afford it. IS there anyone who can help him with this? Thank you.
