Hello-- Drummer here. I'm trying to start a jazz/funk kind of band. The goal for now is to get together a couple times a month with like-minded musicians and play some songs and jam a bit. Have fun. Mostly instrumentals and maybe a little singing. Gigs later down the road if we feel like it. Some influences: Medeski, Martin, and Wood, The Meters, Grant Green, Greyboy Allstars, Joshua Redman, Lou Donaldson, Steve Gadd Band, etc. I have a place to practice in BG.
