RE-Kinnect Presents Liquid Contact - The QUEER Edition An ALL QUEER space for the LGBTQIA+ Community to gather in aquatic connection... Queer Fam! You're invited! Join in for a LGBTQIA+ dedicated warm water container where contact improv meets zero gravity, connection, listening and presence. Guided by: Stell and Penny Explore your Authentic Aquatic Expression Via Presence, Attunement & Listening. We will dive deep into connection, presence & somatic communication as we connect with the true essence of the Self, the Other, & the We. Through authentic expression, listening, & acute awareness we will explore platonic intimacy in the water. Dance & move your body free from mind. The Water & the Self serve as your teachers as we work with suggestions & boundaries to bring you into a place of consent, deepened trust, playfulness, surrender, & deep relaxation. Come partnered or on your own & no experience needed. The pool is very costly to heat and maintain year-round so your generosity is much appreciated to keep this sanctuary open and available to the community. Sliding scale donation tiers: * Feeling very fortunate $55 * Could use a little help $44 * In need $33 * Space is very limited and this event is already filling up so please send us a message to reserve SCHEDULE: 6:30 Arrive, check-in, drop-in, & connect 7:00 - 9:30pm Fundamentals Workshop followed by Aquatic dance jam 9:30 - 10:00 Leisurely time for more socializing, sauna time, & completion LOCATION: Location details will be shared the morning of the event to all that have sent a donation, but know at least that the pool is in Oakland. PROTOCOL: A same-day negative antigen at home rapid test taken BEFORE arrival is required for admission *** Spoil yourself with a private Liquid Presence Meditation Session with Stell the day of the event (limited session spots available).
